hear is your answer if u like it just mark me as a brainlist

Explanation:

Any visible light that strikes the object and becomes reflected or transmitted to our eyes will contribute to the color appearance of that object. So the color is not in the object itself, but in the light that strikes the object and ultimately reaches our eye.

The light originally consists of all the colours of the VIBGYOR. The different colours have different wavelength and frequencies. Now when light falls on a body some colours are reflected back. I am not going into why and how they are reflected back. However, this reflected light we see and we get the colour of this light. Thus a material has no innate colour. It seems to have colour of the reflected light.
