So two 4 Ohms resistor in parallel is 2 Ohms… You can do that one in your head. The formula is 1/x = 1/R1 + 1/R2. When resistance values are equal it really easy to do in you head as you will get 1/2 the value of one of them… to get down to 1 Ohm’s you would need 4, 8 Ohm resistor…
