To Find :

The value of base current of the transistor = ?

Solution :

• The common gain DC current us given by

                  $\alpha =0.967 = \frac{I_{C} }{I_{E} } = \frac{I_{C} }{10}$

                  $I_{C} = 0.967 \times 10$        

                  $I_{C} = 9.67mA$

• The base current of the transistor is given by the formula

                 $I_{E} = I_{B} + I_{C$

                 $10 = I_{B} + 9.67$

                 $I_{B }= 0.33mA$

The value of base current of the transistor is 0.33mA
