complement is 90°

then 40+4x=90°

X=90-40/4

X=50/4

=12.5°

supplementary angle is 180°

(40+4x)2=90*2

80+8x=180

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the the angle be x, then

It's supplement = 180°-x

It's complement = 90°-x

And four times of itself = 4x

By question,

It's complement = 40 degree more than four times of itself

90°-x = 4x-40°

90°+40° = 4x+x

130° = 5x

130°/5 = x

x = 26°

Hence, it's supplementary angle

= 180°-x

= 180°-26°

= 154°
