Answer:

The angle and its complement are 60° and 30° respectively.

Explanation:

Given

  • Complement of an angel is half the angle.

To Find

  • The angle.
  • Complement of the given angle.

Let the complement of the Angle = x

The angle = 2x

Complementary angles add upto 90°

⟹ x + 2x = 90°

⟹ ( 1 + 2 )x = 90°

⟹ 3x = 90°

⟹ x = 90°/3

⟹ x = 30°

The angle = 2x = 2(30°) = 60°

Complement of the Angle = x = 30°

The angle.

Complement of the given angle.

Let the complement of the Angle = x

The angle = 2x

Complementary angles add upto 90°

 \bold{⟹   x + 2x = 90°}

 \bold{⟹   ( 1 + 2 )x = 90°}

 \bold{⟹   3x = 90 \degree}

 \bold{⟹   x =  \frac{90 \degree}{3} }

 \bold{⟹   x = 30°}

The angle = 2x = 2(30°) = 60°

Complement of the Angle = x = 30°
