Let the angle be x

x+28=90

x=90-28

x=62

Supplement of the angle=180-62
=118

Given :-

Complementary angle of an angle = 28°

To Find :-

The supplementary angles.

Analysis :-

Consider the measure of the other complementary angle as a variable.

Make an equation accordingly and then find the value of the variable.

Make an equation to find the supplement too by substituting the values we got.

Solution :-

Let the measure of other complement angle be x.

We know that,

Sum of Complementary Angles = 90°

Making an equation,

x + 28 = 90

By transposing,

x = 90 - 28

x = 62°

Next,

We know that, sum of supplementary angles = 180

Let the supplementary angle be y.

Making an equation,

y + 62 = 180

By transposing,

y = 180 - 62

y = 118°

Therefore, the supplementary angle is 118°.
