The compliment of an angle is 30 less than twice the angle.Find the angle

given,
90-x=2x-30
90+30=2x+x
120=3x
x=120/3=40 degrees

let the compliment angles be 'x' and 'y'
so , according to the question,
x = 2y -30 .............(1)
we know that the complimentary angles sum Up to 90°
so , x+y =90°
by substituting the value of x, we get,
x+y =90°
(2y-30) + y =90°
2y -30°+y =90°
3y = 90° + 30°
3y = 120°
y = 40°
so the angle is 40°
