We can see that there are two single bonds and one double bond with carbon. According to the rules double and triple bonds are treated as a single bond and thus we are left with three bonds and no lone pairs thus, sp2

We can calculate it with steric number also

For those who don't know, it is equal to

No.of atoms directly bonded to (focus/central)atom+no. of lone pairs on central atom.

And as there are 3 groups but no lone pair therefore the answer is sp2.

It's shape will be trigonal planar and same geometry.
