Weight of conpound =( 12x + y)
=> now mass percent given :
=> 12x/y = 75/25 = 3
=> 12x = 3y => 4x =y
So emperical ratio is :
=> x:y = 1:4
That means for every one carbon there are 4 hygrogens..
