Just add all the oxidation states and sum up them to 0
Barium shows +2 oxidation state always. And mostly Oxygen shows -2. Yttrium's oxidation state is given to be +3. Let copper's be x
+3 + 2(2) + 3x +7(-2) = 0
x = 7/3
