The concentration of a salt solution in terms of mass by mass percentage is 20% and the mass of the solution is 550g. Determine the mass of solute present in the solution.​

Percentage of mass=20%

Solution of mass=550g

Mass of solute present in the solution =mass of solute/mass of solutions  

=20%×550

=20/100×550

=1/5×550

=110g
