  • GIVEN: pH=3.8×10-³
  • TO FIND pH OF SOFT DRINK SAMPLE

pH= -㏒[H+]

   = -㏒3.8×10-³

   = -㏒3.8 - ㏒10-³                 ( ㏒3.8=0.58 )

   = -0.53 + 3

   = 2.42

   pH of soft drink sample =2.42

Chinnz99: sorry for the mistake....
Chinnz99: given: [H+] =3.8^10*-3

❤..pH= -{log[3.8×10^-3]}

= _ {{log[3.8]+log[10^-3]}}

_ {{(0.58)+(-3.0)} = -{_2.42} =2.42}

Therefore, the PH of the soft drink is2.42 and it can be inferred that is acidic
