Concentration of petrol in A= 1 /2

Concentration of petrol in B = 3 /5

Concentration of petrol in C = 4/5

Amount of petrol taken from A = 2 litre from 3 litre

Amount of petrol taken from B = 3 litre from 8 litre

Amount of petrol taken from C = 1 litre from 9 litre

Therefore, total petrol taken out from A, B and C = 2+3+1 =6 litres

So, the quantity of kerosen=(3+8+9) - 6 = 14 litre

Thus, the ratio of petrol to kerosene = 6/ 14 = 3 /7
