The concentration of the cytoplasm and the cell sap inside the root hair is greater than the concentration of the water in the soil around the root hair cell. Use your knowledge of osmosis to explain how water is absorbed into the root hair cell.

the concentration of water is more in soil then in root so the cells present into the root of the cell actively take up ions creating a difference in concentration of ions btwn soil nd roots. So water from soil enters into roots to eliminate the difference of ions nd in this way water is absorbed. .
