Given :

Conductivity (σ) = 92 ohm⁻¹cm⁻¹

Resistance (R) = 250 Ω

To Find :

Cell constant of the cell

Solution :

We know, Resistance (R) = \frac{1}{Conductivity} × Cell constant

We are required to find the cell constant of the cell having resistance 250 Ω

∴   Resistance        =   \frac{1}{92} × cell constant

⇒    250                 =   \frac{1}{92} × Cell constant

⇒  Cell constant    =  250 × 92

∴   Cell constant    = 23000 cm⁻¹

Hence, the cell constant of the given cell is found to be 23000 cm⁻¹.
