Answer:
The "Constitution" divides the power of our Government into three basic level –
1. The Central Government
2. The State Government
3. Other local Governments
The legislative power of our country is divided three levels –
1. Union
2. State
3. Concurrent
Thus, every level of Government has their own set of responsibility and power to exercise. But, India has a centralised federation, which grants the Union government more power than the State and other local governments. Union Government are also given more power that enables themselves to legislate on the residuary powers.
