Following are the reasons why constitution is necessary-

1) Prevents dictatorship- It lays down the rules and principles by which a government should govern.ie the form of government.Every law should be made in compliance with the constitution. The next head is elected by a suitable method.

2) To protect autonomy - It defines the boundary of the union and it's states and no other country can interfere in its boundary.

3) Proper division of powers between legislature ,executive and judiciary leads to balanced governance.

4) Developement - It is necessary for the proper development of the country. It lays down the rights for the citizens, the minorities.ie the access to education, labor right etc which is required for proper communication and trust between the citizens and the government.
