the most important is caste distinctions ...
still there are many inequalities based in birth....
some ppl also lead to communal disturbances in the name caste and religion

still there exists inequalities in many sections of the society 
poor and lower caste people are considered as untouchables in some small villages and are not allowed  to temples and wells where all fill water
job oppurtunities are mostly given to rich people where they give bribes and get the jobs where poor people instead of hard work are back
