The constitution of India was originally written in English language , when it was adopted on 26 th November , 1949 . However in 1950 under the chairmanship of Dr. Rajendra Prasad who was the chairman of constituent assembly at that time it was translated into Hindi and signed by all members of Constituent Assembly .
