The construction of a triangle ABC in which AB = 4 cm, ∠A=600 is not possible when difference of BC and AC is equal to : 3 cm. 3.5 cm.

Given:

  • the construction of ABC in which AB is 5cm
  • angle A= 60°

as we know that in the triangle, the addition of two sides is always greater than the third side,

                                    AB + BC > AC

Then we can say that the difference between the two sides will always be less than the third side,

                                   AB - BC < AC

in this condition if the difference between the two sides is greater than the AB that is 5cm. then it will not possible to be formed.
