Dear Diary,
This morning, I saw the news where there was an article on drug abuse and increased consumption of alcohol among the youngsters. I couldn't forget it and was constantly thinking of how wasted many lives are from these bad habits.
I know it may sound rude but this has become one of the leading factors that claim young lives. Those who do these things may have differing reasons, from domestic family troubles and even peer pressure. But it is important to know and understand that none of our problems will be gone with the consumption of these things which will only affect out health and eventually our lives. It is necessary to educate people about the ill effects of these bad practices and work on rehabilitating those already addicted.
