solution: any point lie on x axis has y = 0

the co ordinates of one of the vertices is origin (0,0)

the length and breadth of rectangle are 6 and 4 units respectively

in rectangle ABCD, AB = CD = 6 UNITS

and BC-AD=4 UNITS

co ordinates of vertices, AS the longer side is on x axis i.e 6 units so the vertices will be (-6,0) because it lies on x axis and one of the vertices lies in second quadrant.

hence breadth will be on +y axis as one of the vertices is in second quadrant

co ordinate (0,4)

HENCE, the co ordinate lie in second quadrant will be (-6, 4)
