Given info : the coordinates of a diameter PQ of a circle is (-2,5) and (8,3).

To find : the coordinates of the center of the circle is ...

solution : diamter is the chord of a circle passing through it centre. and we know, the center of a circle is the midpoint of the diameter of it.

to find center of the given circle, we should midpoint section formula,  \left(\frac{x_1+x_2}{2},\frac{y_1+y_2}{2}\right)

here, (x₁ , y₁) = (-2,5) and (x₂ , y₂) = (8,3)

so the center of the given circle is [(-2+ 8)/2 , (5 + 3)/2] = (3, 4).
