Given info : The coordinates of diameter AB of a circle are A(2, 7) and B(4, 5).

To find : the coordinates of the centre is ...

solution : we know, centre of a circle is the middle point of its diameter.

so centre of diameter AB must be on the middle of it.

using mid - section formula,

(x , y) = [(x₁ + x₂)/2 , (y₁ + y₂)/2]

here (x₁, y₁) = (2, 7) and (x₂, y₂) = (4, 5)

so the centre of circle lies at = [(2 + 4)/2 , (7 + 5)/2]

= (3, 6)

Therefore the coordinates of centre of circle is (3, 6).
