(2,4) is equivalent to {(5+x)/2,(7+y)/2}.

So, (5+x)/2 = 2 and (7+y)/2 = 4
=> x = -1 and y = 1.

Therefore, the co-ordinates of the mid-point of AB line is (-1,1).
