the coordinates of midpoint of line joining the points A and B are two, -3 if coordinates of point a r - 3, 4 then find coordinates of point B​

Answer:

midpoint (x = 2, y = -3) , A (x1= -3, y1 =4). B( x2 , y2)

By midpoint formula

x = (x1 + x2) 2

2 = (-3 + x2)2

4 = -3 + x2

4 + 3 = x2

x2 = 7

similarly, y = (y1 + y2)2

-3 = ( 4 + y2)2

-6 = 4 + y2

-6 -4 = y2

- 10 = y2

The co- ordinate of point B is 7, -10
