The coordinates of one end point of a diameter of a circle are (3,5). if the coordinates of the centre be (6,6), find the coordinates of the other end point of the diameter.

Coordinates of point B are 3and 5 respectively and point O are 6 and 6 respectively

Let x=6,x1=3,y=6,y1=5 x2=? and y2=?

Diameter= 2× radius

By midpoint formula,

x=x1+x2/2

6=3+x2/2

12=3+x2

x2=9

y=y1+y2/2

6=5+y2/2

12-5=y2

y2=7
