Answer:

Let that point be ( a , 0 ), so, by using distance formula-

= > ( - 3 - a )^2 + ( 4 - 0 )^2 = ( 2 - a )^2 + ( 6 - 0 )^2

= > ( 3 + a )^2 + 4^2 = ( 2 - a )^2 + 6^2

= > ( 3 + a )^2 - ( 2 - a )^2 = 36 - 16

= > ( 3 + a - 2 + a )(3 + a + 2 - a ) = 20

= > ( 2a + 1 )( 5 ) = 20

= > 2a + 1 = 4

= > a = 3/2

Hence the point is ( 3/2 , 0 )
