Answer:

(x,y). = ( m1x2 + m2x1 / m1+ m2) , ( m1y2 + m2y1 / m1+ m2)

(x,y) = {2(3)+1(-3)/ 2+1 }, {2(3) + 1(-3) / 2+1}

(x,y) = {(6-3)/3} , {(6-3)/3}

(x,y) = (3/3) , (3/3)

(x,y) = (1) , (1)

Hope it helps you

☯ Let ɲ be the ratio 2:1

∴ Coordinates of point = [ (ɲx₂ +  x₁) / ɲ + 1 , ɲy₂ + y₁) / ɲ + 1 ]

⇒ Coordinates of point = [ (6 - 3) / 3 , (-6 + 3) / 3 ]

⇒ Coordinates of point = ( 1 . -1)
