As the Coromandel coast is much more vast than the Konkan coast, the Coromandel coast lies on both side of the tapering peninsular India, but the Konkan coast lies only in the South Western side of India, Konkan coast faces monsoon in the time of summer and these moist laden winds give heavy rainfall in Konkan coast, so the rainfall is more than 300 cm, Coromandel Coast gets rainfall in both the Seasons, but the total blows amount is less than that of Konkan Coast.

Therefore, the coromandel coast has more rainy months but receive less rainfall than konkan coast.
