Answer:

Lattice energy is inevresely proportional to the radius of cation or anion.

therfore, Cs has the largest radii and hecne would have low lattice energy and Li being smaller in size would have the largest Lattice enrgy.Hence the order in increasing would be:LiCl>NaCl>kcl>RbCl>CsCl

The correct order of lattice energy of these compounds is:

                              LiF > NaCl > KCl > KI

Reason:

• The lattice energy of LIF is 1017kj/mole

• The lattice energy of NaCl is 788kj/mole

• The lattice energy of KCL is 771kj/mole

• The lattice energy of KI is 649kj/mole

Note: Lattice energy is inversely proportional to cation's or anion's radius.
