OPTION 2

Explanation:

REFRACTIVE INDEX OF A MEDIUM US THE RATIO OF SPEED OF LIGHT IN AIR TO SPEED OF LIGHT IN THAT MEDIUM.

If there are two mediums and refractive Index of 1st medium is greater than that of 2nd medium this means density of 1st medium is greater than density of 2nd medium.

Now light travels faster in that medium with lower density.

So we can say if a medium has higher refractive index then light travels slower in it and if a medium have lower refractive index then light travels faster in it.

AS PER YOU GIVEN TABLE:

Air has the lowest refractive index, refractive index of kerosene is greater than refractive Index of air, and refractive Index of benzene is greater than refractive index of kerosene.

THUS WE CAN SAY :

Now as mu benzene is highest thus light will travel slowest in it.

mu kerosene is lower than mu benzene thus light will travel faster in kerosene than in benzene.

mu water is lower than mu kerosene thus light will travel faster in water than in kerosene.

mu air is the lowest, thus light will travel fastest in air.

So the order of speed of light in these mediums we get is :

benzene<kerosene<water<air.

HENCE OPTION 2 IS CORRECT.
