the cost of 1.5 kg potatoes is ` 15.75. then 2.20 kg potatoes will cost

Can anybody tell me how to do this ​

The cost of 1.5 kg potatoes is 15.75.
The cost of 1 kg potatoes is 15.75/1.5=10.5.
So, the cost of 2.20 kg potatoes is 10.5*2.20=23.1.
Ans- 23.1

       Solution:-

  • As per the question, we know that cost price of 1.5kg potatoes of 15.75.
  • Firstly, we have to calculate the per kg cost of potatoes.

        So, the price of per kg potato will be

       \because The cost of 1.5kg potatoes is 15.75.

       \therefore cost of per kg potato will \frac{15.75}{1.50}=10.5.

        So, the cost of 2.20kg will be

        \Rightarrow 2.20\times10.5=23.10.

        Hence, the cost of 2.20kg potatoes will 23.10.
