Let us Consider,

  • CP of 1 article be x.

  • CP of 10 articles is 10x = SP of 9 articles.

  • CP of 9 articles =9x

We know that,

Profit = SP−CP

{ \bf{\sf \: 10x-9x=x}} \\

Profit % = Profit /CP × 100

  { \bf{\sf \: \frac{x}{9x}  \times 100}}

 { \bf{\sf \: \frac{100}{9}    = 11 \frac{1}{9} }}\%
