10a = 24r ---(1)

6f = 2r ---(2)

we know f = 20.50

therefore from (2) 6×20.50 = 2 × r

calculating, r=61.50

so from (1) a = 24r÷10

calculating, a=147.60

so the total cost of 4 kg apples, 3 kg rice and 5 kg flour is 4a+3r+5f

=877.40 Rs.
