Solution:-

Let the cost of 1 kg tea be Rs. X

and the cost of 1 kg coffee be Rs. Y

Condition-l:-

The cost of 15 kg tea and 17 kg coffee is Rs.183

=>15X+17Y=183-------(1)

Condition -ll:-

the cost of 25kg tea and 13 kg coffee is Rs 213

=>25X+13Y=213-------(2)

now,(1)×5 -(2)×3=>

75X+85Y=915

75X+39Y=639

=>46Y=276

=>Y=276/46

=>Y=6

Substituting the value of Y in (1)

=>15X+17(6)=183

=>15X+102=183

=>15X=183-102

=7(4.5)+6

=>31.5+6

=>37.5

Let cost of 1 kg tea be Rs x and cost 1 kg coffee be Rs Y.

∴ According to first conditions,

15x + 17y = 183 \:  \:  \: ...(1)

According to second condition,

25x + 13y = 213 \:  \: ..(2)

On Solving equation (1) & (2)

15x + 17y  - 183 = 0

25x + 13y - 213 = 0

 \frac{x}{17( - 213) - 13( - 183)}  =  \frac{y}{ - 183.25 - 15( - 213)}  =  \frac{1}{15.13 - 17.25} \\

⇒ \frac{x}{ - 3621 + 2379}  =  \frac{y}{ - 4575 + 3195}  =  \frac{1}{195 - 425}  \\

⇒ \frac{x}{ - 1242}  =  \frac{y}{ - 1380}  =  \frac{1}{ - 230}  \\

⇒x =  \frac{ - 1242}{ - 230}  = 5.4 \\

 \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:   \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: \:  \: y =  \frac{ - 1380}{ - 230}  = 6 \\

∴ Cost of 7 kg tea and 1 kg coffee.

 = 7x + y

 = 7 \times 5.4 + 6

 = 37.8 + 6
