Cost of 2(3/4) m cloth is Rs. 73(1/3)

We know that,

A(b/c) = (Ac + b)/c (Conversion of mixed fraction to improper fraction)

2(3/4) m = (11/4) m

Rs.73(1/3) = Rs.(220/3)

Now,

(11/4) m cost Rs.(220/3)

so, to get 1 m we must multiply 4/11

(11/4) × (4/11) = 1

So, 1 m costs Rs. (220/3) × (4/11)

= 1 m costs Rs.(80/3)

Thus, cost of cloth per metre is Rs.(80/3)

I hope it helps
