Solution:

2 1/3 m = 2 + 1/3 m = (6 + 1)/3 m = 7/3 m

Rs. 75 1/4 = Rs. 75 + 1/4 = Rs. (300 + 1)/4 = Rs. 301/4

The cost of 7/3 m cloth is Rs. 301/4

Then the cost of cloth per meter is

= total cost / total cloth

= Rs. (301/4) / (7/3)

= Rs. 301/4 * 3/7
