Solution : Let cost of plate be p and cost of bowl be b

Given : 2p = 6b  

i.e.           p = 3b

and also given p = b + 50

                         b = p-50

                            = 3b - 50

                       3b-b= 50

                         2b = 50

                          b = 50/2

                             = 25 Rs

           we know p = 3b

                              = 3 X 25

                              = 75 Rs

∴   Cost of 2 plate = 2 X 75 = 150 Rs

     Cost of 4 bowls = 4 x 25 = 100 Rs
