CP of 20 mangoes = SP of 15 mangoes.
let CP of 20 mangoes be x
SP of 15 manoes be x
CP of 1 mango is x/20
SP of 1 mango is x/15
x/15-x/20= x/60 is profit because SP is more.
Profit% = (x/60) /(x/20)×100
profit% = (x×20×100)/(60×x)
profit % = 100/3%
or 33.4%

Answer:

The gain percentage is 33.33%

Step-by-step explanation:

As per the data given in the question,

We have,

Let Cost price (CP) of 20 mangoes be x

So, Selling Price(SP) of 15 magoes will also be x

So, CP of one mango = \frac{x}{20}

SP of one mango= \frac{x}{15}

Hence, profit = SP - CP

=\frac{x}{15} -\frac{x}{20} \\=\frac{4x-3x}{60} \\=\frac{x}{60}

So, profit percentage = \frac{Profit}{CP} \times 100

Profit percentage = =\frac{\frac{x}{60} }{\frac{x}{20} } \times 100\\=\frac{100}{3} \\=33.33\%

Hence, the gain percentage is 33.33%
