The cost of 25m cloth is ₹5000

In this situation the metres of cloth is increasing, so obviously the cost will also increase. Hence, it's a case of direct variation

25          =      135

5000                y2

By crossmultipling,

25 * y2       =         135* 5000

         y2     =    135*5000

                            25

                   = ₹27000

   Hence, the cost of 135metres of cloth is ₹27000
