Solution :-

we have given that :
2 kg of tea costs = 992 rs 

we have to find :
the cost of 7/2 kg of tea =? 

here ,
2 kg of tea costs   = 992 rs
=> 1 kg of tea costs = 992 / 2  = 496 rs 

and 
7/2 = 3.5 kg of tea costs = 496 * 3.5 = 1736 rs answer

Therefore,cost of 7/2 kg = 496 × 7/2
= 248 × 7
= ₹1736.
