The cost of 3 1/2 meters of cloth is Rs. 166 1/4. What is the cost of one meter of cloth?

cost of 3 1/2 m of cloth is Rs 166 1/4

cost of 1 m cloth is Rs 166 1/4÷3 1/2

=Rs (665/4÷7/2)

=Rs (665/4×2/7)

=Rs (95/2)

=Rs 47.50
