Solution :-

given that,

Cost of (3/4) kg of onion = Rs.21

so,

→ Cost of 1 kg of onion = 21 / (3/4) = 21 * (4/3) = 7 * 4 = Rs.28

therefore, One kg onions will cost Rs.28 .

Solution 2) :-

we know that,

  • 1 kg = 1000 gm .

so,

→ (3/4) kg = 1000 * (3/4) = 750 gm .

then,

→ cost of 750 gm of onion = Rs.21

→ cost of 1 gm of onion = (21/750)

→ cost of 1000 gm of onion = (21/750) * 1000 = (21/3) * 4 = 7 * 4 = Rs.28
