             cost of one ice cream be y

By the given conditions,

5x + 4y = 740   ------(1)

x = y - 5             --------(2)

Substituting (2) in (1),

5(y-5) + 4y = 740

5y - 25 + 4y = 740

y = 85

x = y - 5

   = 85 - 5

   = 80

Cost of one milkshake = 80
