Let cost of pencil be x and eraser be y
5x+6y= 9
(3x+2y=5 )×3= 9x+ 6y= 15
Subtract 1st from final. 4x=4 ,x=1. hence cost of pencil is 1
Put x in 1st equation, and get y..that will be cost of each eraser.
