The cost of 5 two upon 7 metre is 28 one upon 3 rupees. What is the cost of 1 metre cloth ?​

Answer:

Cloth =  \frac{5}{7} Metres

Cost =  28 whole \frac{1}{3} =  \frac{85}{3}

Now, to take out cost of 1 metre, we will divide these numbers.

\frac{5}{7} ÷  \frac{85}{3}

= \frac{5}{7} ×  \frac{3}{85}

=  \frac{3}{119}

Therefore, cost of 1 metre cloth is  \frac{3}{119}
