the cost of 7 2/3 metres a cloth is 12 3/4 rupees.find the cost of per meter

Answer:

Cost of 7 (2/3)m cloth=12(3/4)

Cost of 23/3ms cloth =51/4

1m cloth will cost = (51/4)/(23/3)

= (51/4)×3/23

=153/92

=1(61/92) rupees or 1.66rupees
