Answer:

7 kg rice + 4 kg sugar = 370 rupees. [equation 1]

7 kg rice + 2 kg sugar = 290 rupees. [equation 2]

eq 1 - eq 2

We get,

2 kg sugar = 80 rupees

Sugar = 80 rupees /2 kg

Sugar = 40 rupees /Kg

Rice =?

Now,

Put value of sugar in eq 2,

we get,

7 kg rice + 80 = 290

7 kg rice = 290 - 80

7 kg rice = 210

rice = 210/ 7 kg

rice = 30 Rupees /kg
