the cost of 7 pencil 5 eraser and 6 sharpener is ₹45 while that of 12 sharpner ,8 pencil and 10 earser is ₹78.Find the cost of 5 earser ,6 sharpener and 3 pencil.

Answer:

let the cost of pencil, eraser and sharpners be x

cost of one pencil=x

cost of 7 pencils=7x

cost of 1 eraser= x

cost of 5eraser = 5x

cost of 1 sharpner = x

cost of 6 sharpners = 6x

so, 7x+5x+6x= 45

18x = 45

x= 45/18

x= 2.5

so cost of 5 erasers, 3 pencils and 6 sharpners

=5x+6x+3x

=5*2.5+6*2.5+3*2.5

=12.5+15+7.5= 35
